Our factory uses a step-by-step method in the manufacture of every shutter, including second coatings and polishing to ensure the product is long-lasting and perfectly finished before it’s painted and packaged up for shipping. These steps are vital in making sure chipping and denting are less likely to occur and every panel is finished with a primer to prevent any fading or sun damage. As part of our 2023 expansion, The Shutter Studio has become one of the first shutter companies to supply wooden shutters made in the UK. Before we get onto more details about our new UK factory, let’s share some details about the other product we still love to supply.

As many other shutter companies in the UK do, we still work with an overseas Manufacturer, and our close relationship allows us to supply our customers with the highest quality Wood and Faux Wood shutters you can find. Our factory has a fast turnaround of your shutters, manufacturing them in less than 2 weeks before they are shipped to us via sea freight. Unfortunately, this is the longest part of the lead time but as we always tell our customers, it is always worth the wait. The products are finished and packaged in such a way that they arrive perfectly at your door with our fitting team.

Our factory has been helping us supply some of the leading shutter materials since the very beginning, including our very popular, energy-efficient shutters; Monterey Pine, Basswood and waterproof Poly Shutters, which are aluminium-reinforced for stability and strength. Our Directors and Logistics Manager regularly visit our team overseas, ensuring quality control is up to standard and our products are the best of the best before being sent over to us here at our UK base, making them some of the best shutter manufacturers we could possibly work with.
