The Shutter Studio’s Croydon Showroom COVID-19 re-opening statement.

The Shutter Studio is pleased to announce the re-opening of our Croydon showroom will be Wednesday, 8th July. Our director Adam and the team have been working tirelessly over the past few weeks to give our showroom a new lease of life, ready to implement new COVID policies to protect both our employees and customers. To serve our customers safely we will implement the following;

• Visiting our showroom must be by appointment only, we will offer 1-hour slots for a maximum of 2 people (from the same household) between 9.30 – 11.30 and 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm Monday to Friday and on Saturdays 10 am – 3 pm. This appointment system allows us to follow the social distancing guidelines. To arrange an appointment to visit our showroom, please call 0208 662 0126.
• All visitors must use our hand sanitiser station on entry.
• Face Masks must be worn at all times during your appointment.
• We have fitted our desks with screen guards to protect visitors and our sales team during face-to-face discussions.
• We regularly ensure our showroom and samples are cleaned with anti-bacterial products.
• Unfortunately, we are unable to offer hot beverages during these times.
• We politely ask if you are showing any coronavirus or fever symptoms to cancel and reschedule your appointment.

Home Consultations & Installations COVID Policy:

Our home consultation service was resumed a few weeks ago but at a limited service, we are now pleased to say we are now able to resume a full service with more slots available. To ensure the safety of our surveyors and customers we have implemented the following;

• Both our surveying and installations team have been supplied with PPE that is to be worn at all times whilst visiting customer homes and sensibly disposed of between appointments.
• All Samples and Swatches are cleaned with antibacterial cleaners after every appointment.
• We ask that there is no more than 1 – 2 people in the same room as our employee, this is to keep within the social distancing guidelines. All other residents to be isolated in another part of the home.
• We ask that the space around the windows/doors we are measuring or installing are cleared of any furniture, furnishings and decor. This is so we do not cross-contaminate within your home. Our workers must have clear access to carry out their work without touching your personal possessions.
• Whilst we love the offer of refreshments, during this pandemic we have asked our teams to not accept and ensure they have their own refreshments.
• We have asked our installation teams to refrain from using customer restrooms, of course, we do leave this decision at our customer’s discretion. In a case of emergency, all staff have been informed to ensure they have the homeowner’s consent before using any facilities, if consent is not given, which we fully understand, our team member may take a break to return to our Croydon Showroom.
