Increased Home Security: As Shutters are a permanent fixture against your windows, they help add security to your home. The robust wood materials create an extra solid layer against your windows and doors to help prevent break-ins. We can also design window security shutters as an upgrade which are designed with a lock to add that extra bit of protection.
Tilt Systems: We have 4 styles of tilt systems to offer every customer. We have the centre tilt and offset tilt rods which are placed on top of the louvres. The other two, more popular options, are the easy tilt and hidden tilt which give the shutters a tidier finish as they are both designed not to be seen.
Paints and Stains: Depending on the material you choose from our range, you can style your shutters with a variety of coloured paints (white being our most popular) as well as wood stains to help give your interior that touch of warmth.
Louvre Sizes: The Louvres (also known as slats), are the most important part of a shutter as this is how you access your privacy and light. We have a variety of sizes in which you can choose from to help get your light and privacy preferences to your desire. Our most popular sizes are the 64 and 76mm, due to being a perfect balance.
Shutter Materials: We have 5 stunning materials to customise your shutters with, including waterproof poly materials. This is the only shutter material that is faux wood but can be designed to look similar to our wooden range. We wanted to offer this alternative to make sure customers could get these beautiful products in any room of their home, even those moisture-prone areas that would affect our wooden materials.

Shutter Aftercare

The final step of purchasing some of our custom shutters is aftercare. Whether you opted for some indoor shutters for your large windows or some shutter doors for your patio area, you want to keep them looking good as new for as long as possible.

Luckily our high-quality shutters are designed with stunning polyurethane paints, which are superior to any regular acrylics and then finished with UV protection to prevent discolouration, especially on white shutters. This will help keep them looking beautiful for a long time, as long as they are looked after by you.

How to Clean Shutters:

We recommend only using micro-fibre cloths or even a feather duster to remove dust and dirt from your shutters. Any form of moisture can damage the shutter materials over time (apart from our poly range of course). For the removal of harsher stains or those pesky fingerprints, our team suggest un-fragranced baby wipes.

We do not recommend using any abrasive household cleaning products as this can damage the UV treatment added to the shutter surface. If you have opted for our wooden shutters, keep an eye on any damp or leaks around the windows, wooden shutters are not waterproof and can be damaged if exposed to moisture.
