BBC Bitesize

BBC Bitesize offers educational resources and support for children aged from 3 years old to 16 plus. It has been around since some of the team here were at school! BBC Bitesize offers education in modules and fun games, this can keep your children distracted whilst keeping up with their learning.

E-Learning for kids

E-Learning for Kids is a fantastic free site offering over 800 e-lessons for children aged between 5 – 12 years old. Some of the subjects they cover include maths, science, IT, Life Skills and languages.

@ School

@school.co.uk is a subscription-based site built around the UK’s national curriculum with Maths, English, Science, History and more. It covers early years, Key stage 1 and 2 with children with special needs. Offering support for teachers and parents, focusing on making education, @ school costs just £9.99 every 3 months.

Oxford Owl

The Oxford Owl is a site solely for parents with children aged 3 – 11 years old offering support, resources and guides in Reading, English and Maths. Oxford Owl is a free website run by The Oxford University, they offer you tips and techniques on how to deliver lessons at home effectively, if you have a printer they also offer free printable activities.

IXL

IXL is an award-winning educational website that really stands out, although it is not a free website, memberships start from £7.99 a month. They offer educational resources and activities for kids aged up to 13 years old which many educational sites lack.
